Good job
I prefer reading Gulf News because not only does it release news quickly and accurately but, in my opinion, it is also the best newspaper in the Gulf. The wide variety of topics range from reports on the Middle East to events that are happening all over the world. We, as readers, appreciate all the hard work and effort. Keep it up!

Changing
I have been reading Gulf News for over a year. The articles on various topics drew my attention, and I found that it was an interesting newspaper. But lately it feels like the vitality has been waning. Some of the reports seem to becoming predictable and the views somewhat one-sided.

Past highlighted
It is a wonderful feeling to have followed the progress of Gulf News in the past 30 years. I just cannot believe it has been three decades. Well done Gulf News and congratulations to all. How about also highlighting some local sports news, like cricket, that happened 30 years ago in your Sport section?

Great benefit
I am one of your most avid readers for the past 10 years in Pakistan. Your paper has a wide variety of topics that are covered as compared to other global newspapers. I have greatly benefited in my professional life as a management consultant from the information that is delivered by your newspaper. Your forte is Friday magazine and Weekend Review, which offer a lot of information.

Just a few clicks
I would like to convey my appreciation for the excellent layout of your website. Its new design makes it much more user friendly than the earlier version. People now can find a whole host of information with just a few clicks of a computer mouse. The online Classifieds search engine is especially helpful and easy to navigate.

Helpful additions
The format changes of the website are terrific and make reading the online newspaper so much easier. I like the links in particular, instead of the running heads. There have been several new additions on the website that are great, such as Ask the Law as well as helpful links and information that are located at the bottom of the web pages. The only thing that bothers me are the flashing advertisements on the website.

Full coverage
I have been reading Gulf News since I came to the UAE four years ago and think that it is a great newspaper. I make it a habit to read Gulf News first. I enjoy following all the letters about the Gulf News 30th Anniversary. Among my favourite sections are the editorials, which are very balanced and well written. The UAE Essentials is a section that I always turn to on the website whenever I have a question about anything. It is very helpful and I often find answers to what I'm looking for. The website's layout is very good and the archive feature helps readers look up editions that were published in the past. Lately, there has been striking coverage on the assassination of Benazir Bhutto as well on the controversy that is happening in the cricket world. The editorial on the controversy on January 8 was fascinating. The only thing that I would like to see is more reports or sections for books or reading in general.

World-class paper
I would like to congratulate the entire team of Gulf News for their excellent work. The articles are outstanding with negligible spelling and grammatical errors. The overall look of the newspaper, both online and in its printed format, is of world-class standards. The newspaper caters to everyone, no matter the age, background and what their interests are. Please keep up the good work.

Part of my life
Since I came to the UAE in 2000, Gulf News has become a part of my life. Being a business writer myself, I use the Business pages as an important source of information. I enjoy reading the Opinion pages that provide me with knowledge on current affairs. The Business features are very comprehensive with stunning layouts. I like the surveys which help me organise my life in the emirates. However, I would lightly criticise your home pages of being full of ads. I love reading tabloid!, which is very relaxing.
