Dubai: Some people will do anything to get their point across. The Gulf News Web department got an alert that one person from Abu Dhabi is trying to rig the poll results. That one IP address had registered over 2,000 clicks. The question was whether Gulf News was right in highlighting the issue of adult content on orkut.com? Another person also tried to fudge the results by clicking hundreds of times on 'No' again. Despite precautions taken against such rigging, people seem to go to extreme lengths to sway the votes. The Gulf News has discounted the rigged votes. Still, a slight majority of readers believe that the Gulf News was wrong in highlighting the issue. Forty-six per cent said No, while 44 per cent felt we did the right thing.
