Dubai: Two Indian residents, including a newborn, had Lady Luck on their side during the first draw for the 18th Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) mega raffles on Thursday.

Two Indian residents get lucky at DSF
First DSF raffle winners are Anaiya Sumaiya and newborn Shazah Fatima
Indian expatriate Anaiya Sumaiya will drive home an Infiniti JX 35 and a luxurious Infiniti G25 plus Dh100,000 cash as the first winner of the daily Infiniti Mega Raffle.
Newborn Shazah Fatima became the first winner of the one-fourth kilo gold prize from the Gold Mega Raffle.
Fatima’s father collected the prize on her behalf at a ceremony organised by the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group.
Every year, DSF attracts shoppers by the millions not only through its great bargains but also through its its shopping-linked raffles and promotions.
For this year’s biggest draw, 32 winners will each get a chance to take home one luxurious Infiniti JX 35 and a luxurious Infiniti G25 plus Dh100,000 cash.

For those eying Nissan cars, one of 12 models from the Nissan fleet of cars will be raffled off daily through the Nissan Grand Raffle.
DSF visitors can also strike gold through the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group promotion. Lucky shoppers may win a quarter kilo of gold everyday or a kilo of gold every week.
