Sharjah Ladies Club celebrates 30th anniversary
Organisation rededicates itself to stated objectives
The anniversary function was inaugurated by Shaikha Jawaher Bint Mohammad Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The event witnessed an encapsulation of the club’s many achievements ever since it became one of the first organisations in the emirate that dedicated itself to women’s issues.
The 30th anniversary ceremony, held under the slogan ‘A promise well kept’, sought to highlight Shaikha Jawaher’s affirmation and support for continuing what the organisation had set out to do with greater success. The celebrations saw at least 400 guests in attendance with dancers, musicians and artists making for a highly entertaining show.
