Dubai Dubai Miracle Garden, the floral hotspot located in Dubailand, reopened its gates for the winter season on December 1, showcasing an array of innovative attractions.

Sylvie Saddik, administration manager at the Miracle Garden Facility Management, told XPRESS that visitors to the “renewable” garden this season will be treated to a village of over 20 floral palaces with different architectural designs, shapes and colours.

“You can see things you have never seen in your life. Be prepared to lose yourself in the maze of palaces,” she said.

In addition to earlier attractions like the Burj Khalifa, the garden has an Eiffel Tower and three windmill structures this year. Geometric floral attractions, arched, heart and umbrella pathways also beckon.

New attractions

Saddik said: “This year, the 72,000 square metre garden has also introduced a new 3,000 metre seating area which is surrounded by 18 restaurants and shops.”

She said the structures and designs made from different flowers and plants have been presented in eye-catching colour combinations. With more than 45 million blooming flowers in 45 varieties and colours, DMG already holds the Guinness World Record for having the longest wall of flowers, making it a landmark in itself in Dubai.

Reopening in time for the 43rd National Day celebrations, the garden is expected to receive a huge footfall within the first week.

“Miracle Garden is a new activity in the environmental tourism field which is growing rapidly in the world. It depends on natural resources and elements and inspires people of different ages, nationalities and classes,” said Saddik.

One resident visiting the garden on Tuesday said: “The picturesque garden is a delight to the senses. Can’t wait to make the most of the unmatched phot-ops it offers.”

Another tourist said: “This is so refreshing. Have never experienced anything like this in my life.”

The garden is open from 9am to 9pm on weekdays and 9am to 11pm on weekends and holidays. The entrance fee is Dh30 per person. There is no charge for children below three years and the physically and mentally challenged.
