Barney the dinosaur comes to Al Ain
Children’s attraction to be staged at convention centre
‘Barney Let’s Go! — Live on Stage!’ is the title of the performance that will be held at Al Ain Convention Centre from November 8 to 10, said an official of Sunshine Events, the organisers of the show. The animated character is considered a helping hand for young children in the television shows.
“Barney along with special pals Baby Bop, BJ and Riff always helps parents give their children the range of skills they need to develop — and he always does it with lots of fun, music and laughs,” said the official.
Talking about the show, the organisers said Barney’s friends BJ, Riff and Baby Bop share their toys but in a rush to share their favourite playthings with the audience they accidentally break them all.
Thankfully Barney knows just the place to go and takes everyone to visit a magical toy factory where the toys can be repaired by the Imagination Machine — a fantastic device which is powered by the children’s imagination. The 60-minute show is full of songs, dance, and fun.
Barney has already performed at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre last month. Tickets for the shows start from Dh99 and can be purchased online through www.boxofficeme.com or by calling 800 90.
