Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, yesterday inspected the studio of the Al Bait TV programme prior to the show’s first episode.

The programme is being produced by the Hamdan Bin Mohammad Heritage centre in cooperation with Dubai Media Incorporated, and is in line with Shaikh Hamdan’s keenness to preserve key elements of Emirati heritage in particular, and Gulf culture in general. The programme centres on Nabati poetry, a key part of Emirati heritage.

Shaikh Hamdan inquired about preparations of the programme’s production teams, and spoke with them about the programme’s desired objectives, and expressed his gratitude for their efforts and those of everyone who contributed to the programme’s success.

Shaikh Hamdan urged the team to present high-quality heritage and cultural material on the programme, and wished them success. He stressed the important role of the media in raising awareness and familiarising people with various aspects of the nation’s culture. He reaffirmed the importance of expanding the innovative horizons of viewers while presenting heritage-related content in a way that ensures its preservation for future generations. Shaikh Hamdan expressed his utmost confidence in the capabilities of the Emirati media in carrying out this objective.
