The US embassy and consulate will be closed on Sunday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day, according to a press release issued by the embassy in Abu Dhabi.
Dubai: The US embassy and consulate will be closed on Sunday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day, according to a press release issued by the embassy in Abu Dhabi.
America is celebrating its 233rd birthday this year. The US was founded on July 4, 1776, with the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The duty officer can be reached through the US Embassy by calling 02-414-2200, but this number is for serious American citizen emergencies only, the release states.
