Ras Al Khaimah: The Ministry of Economy urged residents to avoid last-minute Eid shopping.

The ministry said people buy for Eid Al Fitr on the last day of Ramadan, which, it said, should come to an end.

Public should not wait till the last day of Ramadan… greedy traders utilize such times and raise prices, said the ministry.

Dr Hashem Al Nuaimi, who heads the customer protection department at the ministry, said the public should adhere to clear shopping strategies and buy only what they do need for the Eid Al Fitr and never to go beyond that.
