Six-year-old camel Soogan wins challenge round
News in brief.
Abu Dhabi: Six-year old Soogan, owned by Shaikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, won the challenge round of beauty contest (Muzayana) in the Zamool category of pure-bred camels belonging to Shaikhs.
Shaikh Zayed Bin Hamdan entered yesterday for the first time with his camel in the Muzayana arena.
One of the tens of categories in the contest is reserved for camels owned by Shaikhs. Over 10,000 camels from various countries are participating in the nine-day contest.
