They tried to collectively become the Most People Wearing Paper Hats, Largest Barefoot Race, Longest High Five Chain, and Largest Hopping Race last weekend at Sharjah Airport International Free Zone.
It is understood Guinness World Records is in the process of confirming if the attempts were successful.
The attempts were made by MSSL Mideast staff who already hold four Guinness records: Most people polishing shoes, Most people opening bottles simultaneously, Longest balloon chain constructed and Longest contra line.
Last Friday, employees in uniforms lined up in disciplined rows outside company premises for some of the attempts. The races meanwhile were action-packed with hundreds of workers participating.
MSSL is part of Samvardhana Motherson Group (SMG), a major manufacturer of vehicle rearview mirrors, wiring harness and polymer parts.
