Sharjah Aquarium receives Gulf special needs delegation

Experiences UAE marine environment through display of 120 fish species

Sharjah: Sharjah Aquarium has received a delegation of 70 members from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and the UAE, who are participating in the ongoing fourth gathering for special needs GCC citizens.

The General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare has invited the GCC delegates to attend the gathering which is being taking place from September 15 to 21 and dedicated to individuals with special needs.

The guests toured the aquarium through water tunnels and over bridges, which are equipped with advanced technologies as per the latest international systems. They also got the chance to experience and learn about the marine environment of the UAE through its displays of a wide variety of more than 120 fish species, some rare and colourful, living in a beautifully constructed habitat.
