Abu Dhabi: Quran memorisation and recitation courses will commence next month and involve sessions for males and females, the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre (SZGMC) announced on Monday in the capital.

The sessions, which are part of Al Thekr Al Hakeem programme, will be delivered by specialists from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

Tutors will assist participants in understanding the rules of reading and reciting the Quran.

The Quran memorisation sessions will run throughout September and October every Sunday and Tuesday for male and every Monday and Wednesday for female participants in evening.

Applicants, who wish to take part in the course, can register online through the centre’s website. Applications will be accepted until the end of August.
