Scheme for expats from south Indian state
The south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh is likely to extend its much-hyped Arogyasree health scheme to Gulf NRIs from the state.
Dubai: The south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh is likely to extend its much-hyped Arogyasree health scheme to Gulf NRIs from the state.
A delegation of UAE-based Gulf Telangana Welfare and Cultural Association that flew to the capital Hyderabad on Air Arabia's maiden flight got this assurance from the government recently.
Srinivas Sharma, a member of the delegation, said the association will be setting up a help desk in Hyderabad and Karimnagar to assist and help Gulf job aspirants and NRIs from the Telangana region of the state.
The team met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
