Dubai: Dubai Police have appealed to the public for help in finding a young Emirati who has been missing since last week.

Nasser Ali Nasser, who is diabetic, left his family home on October 28 and hasn’t been seen since.

Brigadier Saleh Al Rahoomi, director of Al Rashidiya police station, urged members of the public who had any details about the 21-year-old to contact the operation room on 04-6095555 or Al Rashidiya police station on 04-2853000.

Colonel Yousuf Abdullah Salem Al Adeedi, deputy director of Al Rashidiya police station, told Gulf News that Nasser’s health requires that he take his medicine for diabetes on time.

“His family are uncertain of his health condition and what might have happened to him without taking his medicine,” he said.

Colonel Al Adeedi said the family had registered a missing person report on October 28 at the police station. “We are investigating the case and we are searching for him,” he said adding that Nasser left his home with some friends but had not shown up since.

“We are calling on the public to co-operate with police and to report to us if they know anything about what happened [to Nasser Ali Nasser] and if they saw him,” he said.

“His family are worried about the whereabouts of their son and fear for his life if he did not take his medicine.”
