One treated for smoke inhalation as fire breaks out in an apartment in Dubai
One person was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in an apartment in Al Muteena area, Dubai, on Monday afternoon.
Dubai: One person was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in an apartment in Al Muteena area, Dubai, on Monday afternoon.
Dubai Civil Defence Operations Room received a call at 2:10pm about a fire on the ground floor of a three-storey building. Firefighting and rescue teams from Al Hamriyah Civil Defence Station arrived at the scene at 2:12pm.
Firefighters found thick smoke billowing from a room and the fire spreading to the second floor.
As a safety measure, residents were evacuated. The fire, which gutted two rooms, was put out in 29 minutes.
Teams from Al Ras Civil Defence Station also rushed to the scene and assisted in the operation.
