DUBAI Feel like buying a brand new Samsung Galaxy mobile, but just feeling a tad lazy to hit the malls for shopping?
Don’t sweat, a new online shopping portal – www.tejuri.com – helps you buy it from a number of retailers that are listed on it and have it delivered for free.
Launched last week, the e-mall allows online shoppers to search and buy on the website. Buyers have a choice of fashion, home décor, sports and consumer electronics products from 40 retailers listed on the site.
“Customers can get a complete low-down on the product they are planning to buy, including warranty details.
All purchases in the UAE will be delivered within two or three days. GCC customers can expect delivery within seven days,” said Ayaz Maqbool, Managing Director, Tejuri, which is supported by Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (DED)
“Down the line, we plan to enlist hypermarkets so people can even buy groceries online,” he added.
The site also enables buyers to compare prices with other retailers so they can make informed choices.
“They can decide to buy a product based on its price, warranty, product information, all of which is detailed on the site.
What’s more, just like malls, e-mall lets shoppers exchange their product if they are not satisfied with it.
“We have a seven-day exchange policy where buyers can return their product to the retailer online . They have to just produce their online purchase bill to their retailer and exchange their product.
"If it is returned due to change of mind, the cost is borne by the customer. If this is done because of a faulty product delivered then the cost is on Tejuri. ”
Offers on site
Maqbool said Tejuri is working towards getting some exclusive offers for its online visitors. Buyers purchasing products worth Dh300 and more using a Visa card can redeem Dh100 in their next online purchase. “An e-mail with the voucher code will be sent to customers,” he said.
Another promotion on the site is a free MP3 player to those buying a mobile worth Dh400 from Sharaf DG.
“Buyers will not get this offer even if they buy it directly from the outlet. This is an exclusive offer for tejuri.com.”
