Dubai: The Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment has allocated Dh20 million to provide immediate assistance to Palestinian victims as more and more people are being displaced in Gaza due to Israeli aggression.

The amount will be spent to provide emergency supplies, especially medicines, to save the lives of those who have been badly wounded in the wanton pounding of Gaza by the Israeli army. The intensive care units in the hospitals are struggling with the limited resources due to the increasing number of casualties.

Part of the allocation will also be used to provide milk powder for children and the elders in Gaza as the food crisis is worsening every day.

Ebrahim Bu Melha, deputy chairman of the establishment's board of trustees, said the intensive care units at hospitals will be provided with sanitation kits and other necessary equipments.

Bu Melha called on individuals and institutions, irrespective of their nationalities, to come forward and help Gaza, which is bleeding due to the Israeli aggression.
