Massive fire breaks out at a labour accommodation in Al Ain

Four people were treated for smoke inhalation and shortness of breath after a massive fire broke out in a labour accommodation in Al Hili Industrial area in Al Ain on Saturday.

Al Ain: Four people were treated for smoke inhalation and shortness of breath after a massive fire broke out in a labour accommodation in Al Hili Industrial area in Al Ain on Saturday.

The fire gutted 40 caravans that include 80 rooms accommodating 640 workers.

Al Ain Police Operation Room received a call and rushed to the scene immediately.

Firefighting and rescue teams from Al Ain Police, Civil Defence and Air wing managed to contain the fire immediately after arriving on the scene.
