Dubai: The Dubai Committee, overseeing the 42nd National Day celebrations in the emirate, has announced the selection of Burj Park Island as the main venue to mark the event.
The announcement was made during the committee’s first meeting dedicated to preparing for the celebrations, and was held at Emirates Towers, Dubai on Monday.
The meeting is part of the comprehensive coordination with the Federal National Day Committee, which includes representatives from all seven emirates, and is chaired by Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development.
Several representatives from government bodies including Dubai Executive Council, Dubai Police, the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Civil Defence, Dubai Culture, and Dubai Events and Commerce Promotion Establishment took part in the meeting.
