Fujairah's Public Health department seized more than 50 cartons of cosmetic creams and hair dyes
Fujairah: Fujairah's Public Health department seized more than 50 cartons of cosmetic creams and hair dyes that are unsuitable for use due to lacking a production and expiry date, according to a report by the Arabic daily Al Khaleej.
The inspectors found the products during a campaign carried out on ladies beauty salons and other areas affiliated with the section.
Asila Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of Public Services, Environment and Health Department at the municipality said that search teams carried out organized inspections on 120 beauty salons in Fujairah, Masafi, Merbah and other areas as per the orders of Engineer Mohammad Saif Al Afkham, Director General of the Municipality.
She said that the seized 50 cartons of cosmetic products were being used in the beauty salons, pointing out that some of the products were expired and others are unsuitable for use because they did not display any production or expiry date.
