Al Nasr's newly signed French coach Rene Exbrayat commenced operations yesterday with the senior players by making them undergo a medical check-up, held at the Club's medical unit.

Exbrayat who arrived in Dubai early on Monday morning will start training from Saturday for 15 days at Humaid Al Tayer stadium. The team will then leave for an external camp in France from August 5-26.

The French coach was accompanied by Joel Beaujouan, the assistant coach and Gilbert Zoonekynd, the technical advisor for the youth and juniors category. Exbrayat who trained an African club in Tunisia, won the Arab Clubs Championship and two Tunisia Cups with them.

He stated he would be looking to repeat that success with Al Nasr and return them to their winning ways.

Exbrayat succeeded Milan Macala who trained Al Nasr in the last season.

Macala failed with the Dubai-based club in the league. Al Nasr finished eighth in the final standings out of 12 First Division Clubs.

The Al Nasr board made changes in the administrational staff of the senior team. They named retired players Rashid Marzooq and Saleh Salim as administrators for the senior team. They will replace Salah Jalal, the former team administrator.
