Emirates airlines is denying that the website of its popular Skywards Miles, a loyalty programme, has been hacked, possibly putting in danger the personal information of more than 3.5 million members.
Dubai: Emirates airlines is denying that the website of its popular Skywards Miles, a loyalty programme, has been hacked, possibly putting in danger the personal information of more than 3.5 million members.
Several callers to Gulf News complained that the site security had been breached with their personal information readily viewed by others.
A spokesperson from Emirates told Gulf News last night that "a thorough investigation has been conducted and we confirm that there has been no security breach involving [Skywards] members' accounts and our data integrity has not been compromised."
