Elderly Fujairah community leader dies in accident
An elderly community leader from Al-Bithna, Fujairah, died in Fujairah Hospital yesterday due to injuries sustained in a car accident on Sunday, hospital sources say.
Fujairah: An elderly community leader from Al-Bithna, Fujairah, died in Fujairah Hospital yesterday due to injuries sustained in a car accident on Sunday, hospital sources say.
Emirati A,A,A, who is in his late sixties, was thrown out of his car, driven by Pakistani driver, F.J.W., after the car they were traveling in collided with a road lamp post and barrier.
The accident happened near the town of Farfar, as the pair were on their way from Al-Bithna to Fujairah on Sunday.
A.A.A., was admitted to the intensive care unit in Fujairah Hospital in a serious condition but died Monday of his injuries. The driver only suffered slight injuries in the accident.
