Eid sales: Checks urged on livestock price
The Ministry of Economy has urged livestock customers to ask the traders to present the original receipts of livestock on display should they have any doubts about the price.
Ras Al Khaimah: The Ministry of Economy has urged livestock customers to ask the traders to present the original receipts of livestock on display should they have any doubts about the price.
A senior ministry official said the public should play a role in controlling the price of livestock especially during Eid Al Adha.
He stressed a decision had been taken this year not to allow traders and suppliers to unilaterally hike the price of livestock. He said that inspectors have been instructed to keep a strict eye on the price of the livestock.
