Dubai: Eid Al Adha will be observed on Saturday, October 4, as today is the first day of Dhu Al Hijja, Saudi Arabia has announced on Wednesday.
Accordingly, Arafat Day, the climax of the annual pilgrimage, will fall on Friday, October 3.
On Arafat Day, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims gather to ascend Mount Arafat, marking the peak day of the largest annual pilgrimage.
The ascent of Arafat is the first event associated with the five-day Haj.
