Dubai to host Derma conference in April
Dubai will host the Dubai World Dermatology & Laser Conference & Exhibition (Dubai Derma 2009) next April at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Dubai: Dubai will host the Dubai World Dermatology & Laser Conference & Exhibition (Dubai Derma 2009) next April at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The annual event is devoted to dermatology and skin care.
The theme of this year's edition, which started on January 26 and ends on Wednesday, was Skin Health is our Concern, organisers said.
The event was held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance.
The chairman of the Dubai Derma 2009, Ebrahim Galadari, said an innovative workshop will he held on April 27 and 28.
Experts in fillers and mesotherapy will discuss and share their experiences at a "Meet the Experts".
He said dermatologists, dermatology resident physicians and medical students will provide updates on the latest advances and practices in dermatology, laser treatments, anti-aging, skin and hair care and other dermatological therapies. Continuing medical educational hours will be also granted as part of attending this important event.
