Abu Dhabi: A charity night was held at Hydra Open Air Cinema in Abu Dhabi as part of 'donate a brick campaign' for the expansion of the Special Care Center school for children.

The event, held under the patronage of Sheikha Shamma Bint Mohammad Al Nahyan was organised by Wolfgang Amadeus Bruelhart, Ambassador of Switzerland, and Isabelle Le Bon, Head of Good Heart.

The film Bolt was screened during the event at Emirates Palace Hotel on Friday evening. Centre staff are concerned about the growing list of children waiting for admission to the special needs school.

With the charity money raised, staff hope to build a larger and better equipped premises to serve more students and families with special needs. To achieve that Good Heart, the fund-raising arm of the centre initiated the campaign.
