Creativity workshop in Dubai focuses on techniques

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday attended part of the Government Creativity Workshop organised by the Shaikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme in cooperation with INSEAD University.

Around 80 employees from different UAE foundations participated in the four-day workshop held at the Emirates Towers in Dubai.

Shaikh Mohammad was briefed by Hessa Eisa Bu Humaid, General Coordinator of the programme, about the content of the information available in the new website of the Shaikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme.

Shaikh Mohammad also participated in the dialogue session between the lecturer and the participants in the programme that was launched by the Vice-President earlier this year with the aim of spreading and reinforcing a culture of excellence and practising it in the federal government.

The debate session attended by Shaikh Mohammad focused on education, learning and capacity-building of teams and development of organisational excellence.

The workshop addressed in general the participation standards in the Federal category distinguished in creativity field in the framework of The UAE Award for Excellence in Government Performance as well as the foundations of development and review of methods of creativity and innovation.

The workshop was attended by Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Dr Hanif Hassan, Minister of Health, Ohood Al Roumi, Director General of the Prime Minister's Office, and a number of officials.
