Abu Dhabi: Zubair Ahmad Sufian Al Ahdal, Ambassador of Comoros, has hailed the UAE’s humanitarian support for sisterly and friendly countries under the wise leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Al Ahdal made his remarks during a meeting with Mohammad Haji Al Khoury, Director General of Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charitable Foundation (KZHF). The envoy expressed his thanks and gratitude to the UAE president for the emergency relief presented by the foundation to the flood victims in the Comoros.
He said that the number of families that benefited from the aid was r 50,000 households on three islands of the Comoros, lauding the Foundation’s efforts in providing assistance during wars, crises and natural disasters.
For his part, Al Khoury stressed that the KZHF will spare no effort to provide help for the people of Comoros as well as establishing projects which will contribute in developing the society.
