Abu Dhabi: The British Institute of Technology and E-Commerce in London has awarded Dr Ali Al Khoury, the director general of Emirates Identity Authority, an honorary doctorate in security identity as well as the title of a Fellow.

Al Khoury was awarded during the institute’s annual ceremony, which took place at the British House of Lords on Friday.

The degrees are in appreciation of Al Khoury’s efforts, which have contributed to the dissemination of knowledge on advanced identification systems and their significance in securing digital economy. Additionally, Al Khoury has published over 60 scientific research papers over the last decade in the field of e-governance and digital identity management.
