Award for municipality’s IT department

Dubai: The Information Technology Department of Dubai Municipality has won a magazine’s Innovation Awards 2012 in the category of best technical project in the field of information security systems for the year 2012.

Khalid Al Awadi, head of technical infrastructure at the department, said the department has been able to effectively plan and apply systems to protect the municipality’s services from security breaches in cooperation with its strategic partners.
