Cairo: Sultan Ahmad Al Jaber, UAE Minister of State, on Monday inspected progress of work on schools and healthcare centre projects in Egypt that are being financed by the UAE.

During his tour in the governorates of Luxor and Qena, Al Jaber said that the economic growth of any country is linked to security and political stability. He pointed out that the Egyptian government is achieving positive progress towards the roadmap, and expressed his confidence that security and stability in Egypt will increase once the roadmap is completed.

Al Jaber said that there are many indications that reflect the international community’s confidence that Egypt is heading in the right direction, pointing out that the recently held Egypt-GCC Investment Forum succeeded in attracting investments from all around the world.

Al Jaber thanked the governorate’s residents for their warm hospitality, and said that he was happy with the progress made on the construction of health care centres and schools. He said that inspection of the actual progress made on the projects is as part of a directives issued by the wise UAE leadership, which is keen on ensuring the that projects are implemented in the best possible way so that they can benefit Egyptian citizens. He added that the aid is in line with the strong historic relations between the UAE and Egypt.
