Abu Dhabi:  Abu Dhabi Municipality has urged the public to report any large water puddles caused by the rain by calling emergency number 993.

The municipality stressed that emergency teams are ready round the clock to deal with the public's calls, while the teams continue to inspect all locations affected by the rainfall.

These areas include the Bani Yas East 8 where the teams carried out a full survey to ensure the area was clear from ponds and siphoned two small ones, which were caused by ground water.

However, traffic and daily life in the area have not been affected by the puddles. Bani Yas East has an advanced rain drainage network including over 14,000 drainage chambers as well as six tankers ready to siphon the water.
