Abu Dhabi: The anti-graffiti-campaign being organised by the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City has been extended to Al Shahama.
The campaign launched last year in Al Wathba is expanding to all the areas of the metropolis , thanks to the wide participation of the community , said a press release issued by Abu Dhabi Municipality. .
A two week long campaign rolled out in the beginning of this week in Al Shahama has also attracted participation from all sections of the community members from different age groups. Due to first semester school vacation, presence of students has made a remarkable increase in the number of participants in the campaign.
The campaign in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Educational Zone, Police Centers and several organisations, is aimed at educating the public on the importance of combating the graffiti as it affects the appearance of the neighborhood.
