Absher to begin second second phase of strategy
Programme aims to offer 20,000 job opportunities in the coming years
The initiative was launched by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to boost the number of UAE nationals working in the private sector.
The Ministry of Presidential Affairs, which is overseeing the implementation of the programme, said that it will be working on expanding its range of partnerships and attracting new companies, which will therefore help with providing more job opportunities for Emiratis.
Ahmad Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, said that the programme was launched under the directives of Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. He pointed out that this vital national programme has many social and economic implications that include achieving social stability for Emirati families by increasing the national cadres’ contribution in the job market and securing for them a source of fixed income.
Al Za’abi pointed out that the programme supports governmental policies and procedures pertaining to Emiratisation, increasing the Emiratisation rate in the job market, reducing the huge number of Emiratis preferring to work in the public sector by increasing their awareness of posts available in the private sector.
