May 10, 2014: A large fire in Sharjah Industrial Area 11 destroys five warehouses.
May 7: A fire destroys Al Tawash Shoes warehouse in Sharjah Industrial Area 3. No casualties reported.
May 4: A fire in Sharjah Industrial area No 3 destroys a warehouse used to wash cars and store tyres, apart from six nearby shops.
March 24: Two killed as ship catches fire in Sharjah.
February 27: Two warehouses of an electronic manufacturer destroyed by fire in Sharjah Airport Free Zone.
February 18: 20 warehouses in Sharjah Industrial Area 13 destroyed in fire. A worker is killed.
January 27: Workers escape unhurt after huge fire destroys scrap warehouse in Sharjah Industrial Area 10.
December 12, 2013: A huge fire gutted a furniture upholstery factory and scrap factory in Sharjah Industrial area No.10, forcing labourers into the streets
December 5: Four people had to be rescued from a burning building in the Al Madam area of Sharjah. 20 families were evacuated from the third floor of the four-storey building. A woman and her son were on the verge of jumping from the building to escape the blaze when they were rescued.
November 6: A blaze gutted an apartment on the last floor of a 15-storey building in Al Ouroba road of Al Rolla area in Sharjah , forcing families into the streets. 70 families were evacuated from the burning building
November 5: A huge fire broke out in Sharjah’s industrial area No.13 , destroying four warehouses. The gutted warehouse stored scrap, metal and textile items
August 12: A huge fire raged through a scrap yard in Sharjah Industrial Area.
July 23: One dies, two survivors at Al Qassimi hospital fire. The three Asian men were working with a subcontracting company. The workers were working on an engine of a power transmission line when the fire broke out.
July 22: Fire breaks out in a garments and shoe factory is in Al Hamriya Free Zone.
July 20: A 35-storey building in Al Khan area of Sharjah catches fire and the blaze spreads rapidly through the balconies. Residents of Al Huda 2 ,which consisted of five parking lots and 30 floors apartments , were evacuated. There were no casualties.
July 15: Four cars are gutted in a fire in a furniture upholstery company in Sharjah Industrial Area No 3. The fire spreads and guts four cars parked nearby.
July 8: A fire breaks out in an apartment behind Mega Mall and a mother with her two sons are seen panicked at the window of their apartment. They are admitted into Al Qasimi Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation
June 3: Eight workers are injured in a fire that breaks out in a pesticide factory in Al Saja’a area of Sharjah
May 19: A fire breaks out in Al Omraniya building. Residents are evacuated. Burning debris from a balcony falls and damages three cars parked on a sandy area near the building
April 28: A fire breaks out in a 20-storey floor residential building, one of the two blocks of Al Hafeet residential tower in Al Taawun area of Sharjah
April 4: Two fires break out in Sharjah at different places, The first incident takes place when a diesel tanker in Al Hamriyah free zone catches fire while filling petroleum products. The second fire breaks out in a wood and timber warehouse in industrial area No 3
March 4: Two Asian workers sustain burns in a fire that breaks out in a scrap yard belonging to a metal company in the industrial area
March 12: A blaze guts 10 apartments on the first floor of a 10-storey building in Sharjah
February 17: Fire at a 25-storey residential tower of Abu Dhabi National Bank on Buhairah Corniche in Sharjah. Hundreds of families are displaced.
Abu Dhabi
December 4, 2013: A fire erupts from a textiles and plastics warehouse at Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi. The mall was closed. There were no casualties, injuries or major damage to the properties.
November 18: An Asian man died when a fire broke out in an apartment on the seventh floor of an apartment building on Airport Road in Abu Dhabi. The man died of smoke inhalation.
August 13: A fire breaks out in porta-cabins adjacent to a building under-construction near Abu Dhabi Gate City. No injuries were reported.
July 3: A 16 year-old Emirati boy was burnt to death in a Ramadan tent set up in his home in Al Shamkha area in Abu Dhabi.
June 25: A fire breaks out at a workers’ accommodation and a warehouse in Al Musaffah Industrial Area in Abu Dhabi. No casualties or injuries were reported.
June 3: Three people are killed and 20 others injured in two fires in Abu Dhabi. The fire broke out on the fifth floor of an Electra Street residential building.
May 7: Three people died and eight others suffered minor injuries when a fire breaks out in an Airport Road building. The fire started from the third floor of a nine-storey building opposite the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority.
May 2: Two young Egyptian siblings are hospitalised after a fire breaks out in their home. Neither of the children’s parents was present in the family’s Al Ain home during the time of the fire.
April 17: A blaze in a Musaffah area power supply station was reported. There were no injuries.
April 4: Fire broke out in an eight-storey building in Abu Dhabi forcing residents to evacuate their home. The fire engulfed the top floors of the building located on the intersection of Al Muroor and Falah Roads.
March 28: Flames engulfed a 12-storey building under construction on the corner of Hazza Bin Zayed Street and Airport Road.
February 6: Fire breaks out at a warehouse for wedding parties in Abu Dhabi’s Musaffah area. There were no injuries.

April 15, 2014: Fire at Baithal Ravi Restaurant on Al Musalla Road in Bur Dubai.
November 16, 2013: A fire breaks out in a high-rise building under construction, near the junction of Mohammad Bin Zayed Road and Al Khail Road in Dubai. One worker is killed after he jumps from the fifth floor.
September 25: Fire breaks out at the Patchi chocolate warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial Area 2.
September 22: Fire breaks out in two warehouses in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3. Two workers die in the Sana Fashions warehouse.
September 3: A fire breaks out in a building under construction near the Business Bay Metro station.
May 4: A blaze erupts at a wood workshop and warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial Area.
March 3: A fire breaks out in an under-construction 33rd floor of a high-rise building in Downtown Dubai.
