An Iranian student managed to escape from an attempted rape and kidnap on Tuesday in Sharjah.

Man arrested after luring victim into his car and putting his hands on her, police say

A man approached her in a car as she was waiting for a school bus in the Nasiriyah area.
He offered to drop her at school and at first she refused, before agreeing.
The man then started putting his hands on her, she started shouting and screaming causing the him to stop the car and throw her out.
Police have since arrested the man for attempted kidnap and attempted rape.
The case has been transferred to public prosecution.
