Sharjah: A Pakistani worker died after falling from a building under construction in Al Majaz area of Sharjah on Tuesday, police said.
The accident took place in the afternoon at around 1.30pm.
Workers at the site reported the incident to the police operation room.
The 30-year-old worker was identified as A.H.K.M.K. and paramedics transferred the victim to Kuwaiti Hospital.
The worker later succumbed to his injuries and pronounced dead at around 7.45pm, official said.
The case is with Al Buhairah police station for further investigations.
Police are urging construction companies to ensure that all safety measures are in place at their work sites in order to avoid such accidents.
