Abu Dhabi: An Emirati couple lost their 19-month-old baby after they allegedly left her in their family vehicle parked in the sun, police said.
The incident took place on Thursday and was reported to authorities at 9:30pm the same day. The cause of death is reported to be suffocation and heat fatigue.
The body of the child has been moved to the Al Ruwais Hospital and investigations are on going to find out the details of the event.
Western Region Police said that parents should take utmost care of their children to prevent such tragic incidents.
