Dubai's protocol department organises training course
Managers in the field to benefit from Washington school's expertise
Dubai: Dubai's Protocol Department, in collaboration with The Protocol School of Washington, has extended its patronage to the International Protocol Manager Training (IPMT) course, which will be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi next month.
"The course is still attracting intense interest from various organisations and personalities in the UAE and abroad," said Ahmad Ali Al Za'abi, Assistant Director General of the Dubai Protocol Department.
"Running two consecutive courses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi gives us the opportunity to accommodate a larger audience and to promote protocol education on a wider scale."
The course aims to dev-elop the skills of participants who are involved in different areas of protocol in order to broaden their understanding of operational, government and international protocol.
Participants are provided with expert coaching along with professional and practical tools, methods and processes that are essential for the proper application of international protocol standards and practices and for enhancing international relations. The course also addresses topics such as the order of precedence, titles and forms of address, and cross-cultural differences.
