Hunter is looking for his forever home! He is great with children and other dogs. He likes to chase cats and birds. He is eight months old. He has had a docked tail ever since he was rescued as a baby. His foster mum says: “He is an adorable dog; loyal, tender, playful, intelligent and obedient. He is social with other dogs, not at all aggressive, a wonderful guard dog only barking when people he doesn’t know enter the room or garden alone. I really hope he finds a home that deserves him soon.”ʺHunter is house and toilet trained. He may occasionally try to nibble on your plants but is quite easy to train. He is vaccinated, microchipped and will be neutered soon. Mika: Mika is a real character! He is such a cheeky little boy who loves to scamper about the place and chase his roommates. He is certainly a lively boy that would benefit from having a very friendly, young companion for him to leap around with. After a morning at play he can be found among a pile of kittens all snuggled up for a nap, building up for energy for the next round of games in the afternoon! To find out more about Mika, visit the RAK Animal Welfare or call them on 050 4873 922. (Gender: Male. DoB: 02/04/2014. Breed: Domestic Short Hair.)

Blacky: Meet Blacky, a six-month-old cat, who was born with leg deformities. He does not let that stop him from bouncing, jumping and playing with all the cats and when he sees them quiet he pokes them one at a time. It is very difficult to take good pictures of Blacky as the moment he sees you, he will be jumping in an attempt to play with you. Blacky is looking for a special home, where no one minds giving a funny cat frequent nail trimming as that is the only special care he needs because his nails do not retract backwards like normal kitties. Blacky was microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, frontlined and neutered and is ready for the big move to a loving home. To find out more about Blacky visit Wags and Purrs or email wags-and-purrs@hotmail.com

Tristen: Meet Tristen. This sweet senior is healthy, housetrained, great with other dogs and incredibly affectionate! He can be a bit shy and at times nervous with strangers, which is why we would prefer him to go into a quieter household without children. He is currently in a foster home. For more information about Tristen visit DSDP or email seniordogproject_dxb@yahoo.com.

Dizzy: This is Dizzy; she needs a foster or forever home. Since she was rescued from Shaihk Zayed Road she’s been stuck in a cage at Petzone Veterinary Clinic and now at Vienna Vet all together for three months. She has been hit by a car and the part of her brain that keeps her head still has been damaged so she has a bit of a “dizzy head”. Dizzy is a lovely and curious lady who loves to explore and purrs very loudly. She has been to three adoption days so far and still no luck. To find more about Dizzy, visit 38Smiles or email on info@38smiles.com

JDL: JD is a male American Staffordshire Terrier, about two years old. He is a friendly boy who loves to play and run around but also cuddle up on the sofa and watch TV with you. He is friendly with other dogs, not sure about cats. JD can only be rehomed into a villa due to breed specific laws in the UAE. You also have to consider which country you are planning on moving to eventually and need to keep in mind that JD won’t be able to travel to many countries, given his breed. The final decision will be made by JD’s current owner; we are supporting to find the right match. If you would like to give JD a forever home then please email the Dubai Animal Welfare Society at info.daws@gmail.com

Sasha: Sasha is five-month-old kitten that is affectionate, great with other cats and children. To find more about Sasha visit RAK Feline Rescues or email on fayebelline37@gmail.com
