The focus this week is on large, extra large or chubby animals who are looking for their forever home. We are also including a ‘larger than life’ rescue from a hoarder’s house in Abu Dhabi, where the welfare group found 27 cats and a squirrel!

A large Swiss Shepherd, Fluffy is a gorgeous, lovely and friendly boy who was brought in with his brother and sister. He can be homed without them. He’s good with dogs and people. Beanie is a beautiful, energetic and playful young dog that is loved by everyone at the centre. His lively and friendly personality means that he gets along with everyone — be it people, other dogs or even cats. This boy just loves making new friends. Beanie is a very smart boy and absolutely adores his obedience training sessions. He walks on a leash with ease, is house trained, crate trained and good at basic commands. Jim - 38 Smiles
Jim is a large black and white cat. Due to his size, he can be used as a barbell for bicep curls at home. He is also very friendly and just wants to be petted and cuddled. Danny - Sandy Paws
Larger than he should be, Danny is only nine months old and a big boy. The problem is that he eats all the food as he is in a room of other foster cats — all girls! He is friendly and affectionate and needs to go to a new home with his friend Mona who is scared of people and needs a family who will allow her time to get used to having people around.
