Hunter

Centre: Animal Action Abu Dhabi

Hunter is a male, medium-sized puppy who is looking for his forever home. He is great with children and other dogs. He likes to chase cats and birds. He is now one year old. He has had a docked tail ever since he was rescued as a baby. His foster mum says: “He is an adorable dog; loyal, tender, playful, intelligent and obedient. He is social with other dogs, not at all aggressive, a wonderful guard dog who only barks when people he doesn’t know enter the room or garden alone.” His foster family is leaving for good and Hunter has nowhere to go. We are trying our hardest to keep him from going into a crate at the vet. He needs a foster home until adopted or a forever home. For more information about Hunter please click here or contact Animal Action direct on animal.action@hotmail.com

Joan

Centre: Dubai Animal Welfare Centre (DAWS)

Joan is about five or six months old. She was rescued from Al Ain along with her mother and siblings. Joan suffered from a severe bacterial infection, which spread over her intestines and stomach. She lost a lot of weight and was not able to eat or drink by herself, nor stand up or even move. Now she can walk around by herself and is ready to move into a foster or forever home. She is still in the vet clinic today, which is rather sad given the fact that she recovered so nicely. For more information on Joan please click here or contact DAWS on info.daws@gmail.com

Luna

Centre: Feline Friends

This lovely girl had been abandoned in a box on the pavement at the beginning of summer. She was very heavily pregnant and would have died from heat exhaustion if she hadn’t been picked up by a Feline Friends volunteer and quickly taken to the vet. She immediately settled in her new foster home as she has a very sweet, laid back nature and very soon gave birth to five kittens. She’s been a model mother, but now it’s time for Luna to find her own forever home, where she’s able to have access to a garden, as well as spending time indoors. For more information about Luna please click here or contact Feline Friends on 050 4510058 or info@felinefriendsdubai.com

Barron

Centre: The Dubai Senior Dog Project

13-year-old Barron is looking for a very special home. He is a German Shepherd who would love to spend his senior years with a loving family. He is very calm and gentle, good with dogs, although due to his age calm dogs would be better, and is also good with children but again we would advise children over the age of 10. Healthy considering his advanced age and treatment up to date. No ongoing treatment needed at this time but regular checkups every six months and general maintenance is recommended as per any senior. Vision impaired but can see up close. Hearing impaired but can hear loud noises. Due to advanced age, vet costs of new owners can be subsidised by DSDP as required. For more information on Barron please click here or contact The Dubai Senior Dog Project on seniordogproject_dxb@yahoo.com
