The theme for this week is ‘urgent cases’.

Norris - Sharjah Cats and Dogs Shelter (SCADS)

This is Norris, he was brought back after being adopted a few days ago because he was too big. He’s a very friendly boy who’s great with children and all other animals. For more information about Norris, please click here or contact SCADS on 050 9175481 or via their Facebook Page.

Chewy - Sharjah Cats and Dogs Shelter (SCADS)

She may not be the prettiest German Shepherd out there, but she still deserves a loving home! Chewy came from a horrible place where she was beaten by children and attacked by other dogs. Eventually the “owners” decided she was a useless GSD and dumped her. Darling Chewy is starting to gain confidence and is now starting to play and give cuddles! For more information on Chewy, please click here or contact SCADS on 050 9175481 or via their Facebook Page.

JD - Dubai Animal Welfare Society (DAWS)

JD is a male American Staffordshire Terrier, about two years old. JD is a friendly big boy who loves to play and run around but also cuddle up on the sofa and watch TV with you. He is friendly with other dogs and people. For more information about JD, please click here or contact DAWS on info.daws@gmail.com or via the Facebook Page.

Carrot - Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre (RAK AWC)

When Carrot first appeared in the shelter we all thought that this boy will be adopted in an instant. Unfortunately we were so very wrong. It’s now been almost half a year that this ginger awesomeness lives in the shelter and hopes for his forever home! This young boy has the most amazing bright ginger coat that is so soft and silky – we guarantee you won’t be able to keep your hands of this lovely fella. For more information on Carrot, please click here or contact RAK AWC on 050 4873922 or info@rakawc.com

Sky - Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre (RAK AWC)

Medium Sky did not have a very good start in life: when this lovely girl was dumped at RAK AWC without any explanations she looked like a skeleton and 11.6 kilograms, was dehydrated, had skin conditions and was covered in ticks, was shy of people and very scared. But what we saw behind those sad eyes was an extremely loving and trusting dog. Despite everything that happened to her, Sky craves human attention and cuddles and is a very friendly girl, especially with children. For more information about Sky, please click here or contact RAK AWC on 050 4873922 or info@rakawc.com

Cherry - Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre (RAK AWC)

Cherry first appeared in the centre over a year ago and we were surprised what a wonderful, well adjusted lady she is. She is great fun to be around as she enjoys the company of any person and all animals as far as we can tell! Observers often think that she is a little shy at first, but we think it is just her good manners, patiently waiting to be given her commands. She is a very affectionate and people-orientated dog who loves nothing more that a cuddle and a belly rub. For more information about Cherry, please click here or contact RAK AWC on 050 4873922 or info@rakawc.com

Cody - Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre (RAK AWC)

Cody is a handsome young dog, who unfortunately did not have a very good start in life - he was neglected for all his life and never knew what human affection was. However he has not lost his trust in people and is longing for love and attention. Cody is very trusting but he can seem a little shy at first - he just needs a little time to get used to you. He does very well in training and he can sit, lie down and come on command and walks on a leash with ease. For more information about Cody, please click here or contact RAK AWC on 050 4873922 or info@rakawc.com

Jani - Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre (RAK AWC)

Jani is a lovely, happy and playful girl. We think this lovely girl is simply perfect! She might not be the prettiest dogs out there, but is the most loyal, patient, smart and loving dog we have ever met. She is perfect with children and always willing to help us out during school visits and all the children just fall in love with her! No wonder our staff and volunteers all adore her. Jani is extremely clever and excels in training sessions. For more information about Jani, please click here or contact RAK AWC on 050 4873922 or info@rakawc.com

Micky - Senior Dog’s Project Dubai (DSDP)

Micky is 10 years old, rescued from an abusive home (hence the DIY cropped ears and tail). Despite this though, he has an excellent temperament with people as well as other dogs and even cats. He is generally a calm relaxed dog but can be shy at first with strangers, but very sweet natured. Very affectionate once he knows he’s ok!
