“Carrefour City brings the best-loved aspects of Carrefour to a convenient corner store concept easily accessible to customers around the city,” it said in a statement.

“The Carrefour City model, a best practice started in France, has been developed to answer to the daily shopping needs of the residential and business communities with a focus on fresh food, beverages, groceries and dairy products,” said Franck Rouquet, vice-president, Majid Al Futtaim Carrefour Market.
