Windsor: UAE rider Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei was crowned winner of the 120-km Windsor Royal Endurance Race in the presence His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain at Windsor Great Park.

Al Mazrouei, saddling Ramah, won the title of the 120km race in 4:41:27.

Shaikh Mohammad met with the Queen on the sidelines of the event and spoke on the distinguished ties of friendship and co-operation between the UAE and the United Kingdom.

He affirmed the UAE's sincere keenness to participate in equestrian events taking place in England, particularly the Windsor Royal Endurance Race, one of the most prominent festivals on the endurance calendar of events.

Shaikh Mohammad praised the outstanding performance of the Emirati and Bahraini riders in the race. Some 60 riders from 10 countries contested the four-leg race.
