Suicide bombers kill 5 in Chechnyan capital
Grozny: Officials say suicide bombers have detonated explosives in Chechnya's provincial capital, killing at least four police officers and one civilian.
Emergency Situations Ministry spokesman Alexei Zemskov says four other policemen were wounded in Friday's attacks.
Zemskov says the suicide bombers approached police officers in two separate locations in the city of Grozny and detonated their explosives.
The attacks follow Monday's suicide bombing of a police station in neighboring Ingushetia which killed 25 and injured over 160. The bombing was the worst attack in years in the volatile North Caucasus region.
