Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mian Shahbaz Sharif has sent a legal notice to Imran Khan asking him to apologise, after the latter alleged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had offered a Rs10 billion (Dh350 million) bribe to maintain hissilence in the Panama Papers case.

Sharif sent the legal notice, through Advocate Khawaja Haris, to the Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf’s central office Islamabad and to Imran Khan residential addresses in Banni gala.

It was said in the notice that Imran Khan had alleged through media that Nawaz Sharif had made a bribery offer of Rs10 billion for staying silent on Panama case. If Imran Khan does not tender apology within 14 days then Sharif would initiate legal proceedings against him, the notice says.
