New Delhi: With new revelations coming to light in the Sheena Bora murder mystery, the noose is tightening around media tycoon Peter Mukerjea’s wife Indrani Mukherjea. Though the investigators are yet to complete the investigation into the three-year-old murder, findings as of now point towards alleged involvement of Indrani.
Here are some possible motives that suggest the involvement of Indrani and her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna, who has been arrested by police for interrogation:
Angle 1: Indrani killed Sheena as she knew something damaging about Sheena’s parentage and Indrani’s early life, as did Mikhail.
Angle 2: Ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna helped Indrani to murder Sheena in order to ensure maximum inheritance for their daughter Vidhi.
Angle 3: Sheena was murdered over a conflict as she refused to return money allegedly received from Mukerjeas’ NewsX group exit that was deposited in her account.
Angle 4: Indrani and ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna killed Sheena and were plotting to murder her son Mikhail next, to eliminate all other contenders to the inheritance.
Angle 5: It was a case of honour killing as Indrani was unhappy with the relationship between Sheena and Rahul Mukerjea, son of Peter Mukerjea from his previous marriage.
